The Ecology Colloquium (ECLGY 590) is a course for Ecology program students to practice presenting their research to their peers and receive feedback from department faculty. It is held on Wednesdays from 12:20 – 1:10 p.m. in 104 Forest Resources Building.
The ecology seminar series (Fall and Spring) offers a look at research across the full breadth and depth of the field of ecology from a variety of perspectives, with the Spring seminar series tied around a specific theme chosen by the program's students. All are welcome to attend. Please see below for current schedule and locations.
The theme for the Spring 2020 series is "Conservation Ecology."
The Ecology mini-symposium provides an opportunity for students to present their research, and for students, faculty, and post-docs to become familiar with ongoing research activities and people in the program. The mini-symposium is held twice per year. Students are required to present the results of their research at one of these symposia before their final defense.
Spring 2020 Date: TBD
