Models are constructed with individual and grouped covariates for tagged bears across PA in an effort to predict the likelihood of harvest._ Models are compared to the Lincoln-Peterson equivalent model that is the current standard for estimating bear populations in PA._ The estimates from the best model are then used in a Horvitz-Thompson-like analysis with respect to all harvest records for a particular year to estimate population.
