Abstract I will be talking about part of my thesis proposal. Specifically, I will be talking about the impacts of soil moisture and topographic position on the relative rates of root production by depth in the Shale Hills Critical Zone Observatory catchment. I will potentially also talk about the implications of this work on landscape level modeling efforts depending on time.
