GenoMix is a social and professional organization for graduate students at Penn State whose research is related to bioinformatics and genomics. These generally span across many departments. Members may engage in:
- Welcoming and guiding incoming students
- Receiving professional development and networking opportunities
- Participating in social outings, retreats, seminars, and workshops
- Collaborating with other groups in the community
