Millipore Direct Detect installation and training
8 Althouse Lab
EMD Millipore Field Application Scientist James Henderson, Ph.D., will provide training and answer your questions. About the Direct Detect The Millipore Direct Detect is the first infrared-based bio-molecular quantitation system. Using an infrared spectrometer, the Direct Detect system measures the amide bond absorbance (C=O) for measuring protein concentration, and then presents the full IR-spectrum range of absorbance profile with individual peaks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates. Preserve precious samples and save time on elaborate assays - the Direct Detect requires only 2 uL per analysis and takes about a minute to complete!
