Give to the Penn State Neuroscience Institute
PSNI’s greatest strength is its ability to integrate neuroscience across levels of analysis - from genes and neural circuits to cognition, behavior, and society - leveraging Penn State’s expertise in brain development, whole body physiology, neuroevolution and neuroecology, biodevice development and materials, ethics, and society. With more than 100 faculty members across 25+ departments at University Park alone, PSNI embodies interdisciplinary and cutting edge science that uniquely bridges basic discovery and applied solutions for mental health, addiction, aging, climate and agriculture related questions, and neurological disease.
PSNI promotes research at the leading edge of brain science in an effort to solve major disorders and promote physiological flourishing. Your support of Penn State Neuroscience helps us push the limits of human understanding as we seek to solve problems afflicting the brain, engineer flourishing minds, and train the next generation of leading neuroscientists.
The neuroscience revolution is happening now, and “Penn State neuroscience is science fiction brought to life”.
– Penn State Senior Vice President for Research Dr. Andrew Read
