We are in a global data revolution, where it is possible to collect data at an unprecedented scale, spanning genomes to ecosystems, from archeological sites to real-time data collection from wearable devices. This provides opportunities for integrating different data streams to identify novel mechanisms underlying fundamental biological processes, such as cellular dynamics and social interactions, as well as ongoing societal challenges, including infectious and chronic diseases.
Huck Institutes scientists are developing innovative strategies to harness and apply these complex data streams to address fundamental and societal grand challenges.
