Drafting Professional Documents: CVs and Cover Letters

What are the differences between CVs and resumes? How do these documents vary between disciplines and fields? How might you use a cover letter to emphasize and enhance your resume instead of simply repeating its content? This workshop will teach strategies for creating a professionally written-yet unique-set of documents that appeal to an admissions committee or hiring committee. We will focus on genre conventions, organization, word choice, and consistent verb usage.
