100 Life Sciences Building, Berg Auditorium

This talk will describe the use of microfluidic technology to control and manipulate drops whose volume is about one picoliter. These serve as reaction vessels for the study of biological assays. Examples of the application of these devices to fundamental biology and biotechnology will be described.
