Dr._Haaland_will be skyping in with the Center for Molecular Immunology and Infectious Disease (CMIID) group to talk about his career path into governmental research and the CDC. He received his PhD from Baylor University in Molecular Virology and Microbiology and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University. He is currently a microbiology researcher with the CDC and studies HIV shedding and transmission. _This event will be catered with snacks and refreshments. _ This event is hosted by the_Center for Molecular Immunology and Infectious Disease (CMIID)._
