An Industrial Perspective

The Huck Graduate Student Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the next speaker for the Career Exposure & Professional Development seminars. Tom Slewinski, PhD, Lead of the Yield Traits Discovery and Testing team within Monsanto Biotechnology, will give a talk entitled, An Industrial Perspective. Dr. Slewinski is a two-time alumni of Penn State, receiving his graduate degree in Plant Biology in 2010 and his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2003. He completed his postdoc at Cornell University, and currently works with Monsanto to discover, design, test, and develop next generation yield products for corn and soy.
