The program aims to enhance proposal clarity, coherence, and visual impact by supporting faculty in refining their written narratives, saving time on organizing reference sections, and creating compelling, high-quality visuals.
By investing in the presentation of proposals, the Huck Institutes seeks to increase the success rate of external funding submissions and help faculty communicate their research more effectively to reviewers and sponsors. This initiative provides up to 10 hours per project (equivalent to $750) in internal funding for professional services.

Eligibility
This program is open to faculty affiliated with the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences who are actively preparing proposals for external submission. Priority will be given to proposals targeting multi-PI, interdisciplinary and/or supporting strategic initiatives within Huck-supported Centers and Institutes.
Request Process
Requests will be accepted on a rolling basis, but no later than four (4) weeks before the proposal is due. All the materials in need of professional services must be provided at least 10 days before the proposal is due (design services may require an even earlier submission) to allow for adequate support. To apply, faculty should submit the short Huck Catalysis support form. Approvals and service coordination will be managed by the Huck Institutes’ Strategic Initiatives team.
