Communication, Science, and Society Initiative

A research partnership between Penn State’s Department of Communication Arts and Sciences and the Huck Institutes for the Life Sciences. The CSSI brings together researchers to address significant social problems, particularly those at the intersection of human communication and the life sciences.

Skilled Training in Administration and Institutional Research (STAIR)

By providing training, mentorship, and consulting services, STAIR empowers research administrators and early-career faculty to compete for and manage research projects effectively. This goal of this initiative is to provide access to essential research infrastructure and strengthen the research ecosystem to advance national scientific progress.
