Structured Nucleic Acids Day, Robert Simpson and Sons Lecture set for April 18

New research shows that DNA that folds into conformations other than the classic double helix (non-B DNA), which includes as much as 13% of the human genome, leads to elevated nucleotide substitution rates in both the non-B motifs themselves and their flanking regions.
