PacBio Revio

PacBio sequencing is a third-generation, long-read technology that uses Single-Molecule Real-Time (SMRT) methods to generate HiFi reads with 99.9% read accuracy. Key advantages include long read lengths, high consensus accuracy, and direct epigenetic detection.

Specifications

  • The Revio can run up to 4 SMRT cells at a time
  • Each SMRTcell can produce up to ~120 Gb of data
  • High Fidelity (HiFi) reads with >99% accuracy from templates of 1 – 25 kb in length can be generated from circular consensus sequencing
  • Multiplexing available
