Computation, Bioinformatics, and Statistics (CBIOS)
This NIH-sponsored Training Program prepares young scientists to excel in genomics research that cuts across the traditional disciplines of life sciences, computer science, bioinformatics, and statistics. Students in the program are vital members of the Penn State genomics and bioinformatics research community, which strives to harvest insights from genomic data to improve human health. Trainees are supported for a period of two years as a part of their doctoral program.
