Career & Professional Development

The Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences wants to provide our graduate students with the resources necessary to be successful in obtaining and securing satisfying and rewarding careers, no matter what career path they choose. Students in our graduate programs acquire a variety of both technical and interpersonal skills through their classes and research as well through various seminars, conferences, and workshops.

There are 18 skills listed on the left-hand side of this page. For each skill, we offer resources found both on and off campus as well as suggested activities for improving on that skill. Please check back often as we will be continuously updating these resources! If you have any resources to add, please e-mail
