Bookmark huck.psu.edu/symbiotic now to join us for another live episode of The Symbiotic Podcast.

Plants, and more specifically, plant genes are up for discussion with our next "Risk-Takers and Game-Changers" guest, Sally Mackenzie. She’s the Huck chair of functional genomics, a professor of biology and of plant science, and director of the Penn State Plant Institute.

Mackenzie is one of the world’s foremost experts on epigenetics, the study of how changes to behavior and environment affect the way genes are expressed. She’ll be telling us about her work with plants, the epigenetic techniques she’s patented, the biotech company founded to commercialize her research, and the potential role that epigenetics could come to play in understanding and improving human health.

Don't miss this chance to hear from Sally and chat in live with your questions!
