Bookmark huck.psu.edu/symbiotic now to join us for another live episode of The Symbiotic Podcast.
The second episode of our third Season, “Risk-Takers and Game-Changers,” continues with Nita Bharti, Assistant Professor of Biology.
Nita is an expert in the effects of population movements on diseases and a pioneer in the use of unorthodox data sources to better inform public health decisions.
Her research group has brought an open-minded, intellectually curious approach to disease movement problems on multiple continents, working with people, animals, and spillover events between the two. We're talking to Nita about how she transcends established assumptions and breaks the rules to advance science.
