COEIB CSL Behring Scholarship for Success
With the support of our CSL Behring partnership, the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology (COEIB) proudly offers scholarships to undergraduate students.
One of the main goals of the COEIB is to prepare students for success in the field of biotechnology. This preparation is not only geared toward budding biotechnologists, engineers, or scientists; we’d like to extend this assistance to all fields of education and training that can and will support every part of biotechnology and its industry.
With this, the COEIB CSL Behring Scholarship for Success welcomes all students across all majors: whether you are volunteering in a lab working on a project that may one day support the advancement of biotechnologies, or you’re learning the ins-and-outs of proper industry business techniques, we’d love to consider how your current endeavors can contribute to industrial biotechnology.
Scholarship Details:
- Scholarship Amount: $2000
- Application Deadline: August 17, 2026
- Notifications will be sent out during the first week of classes, for the Fall 2026 semester
- For selected students, scholarship funds will be applied for the Fall 2026 semester
Scholarship Requirements:
- ALL MAJORS ARE WELCOMED TO APPLY!
- Must be an undergraduate student
- Must be conducting undergraduate research
- Either being a member of a lab, with an assigned PI
- OR: if you are not completing laboratory work, you must be working with a PI/Instructor on a research project related to your major
- Laboratory/Research projects must in some way contribute to the field of biotechnology
- You will be required to write a short essay on how your research (current or proposed) contributes to the field of biotechnology.
