BIOTECH DAY 2026
As our first ever biotechnology networking event, the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology (COEIB) will be hosting “Biotech Day.”
A small, but concentrated, 3-hour micro-conference focusing on the advancement of biotechnology; aiming to prepare students for entry into the industry, with skills, knowledge, and innovative mindsets that can contribute to the field.
During this event, we have planned the following:
- Keynote Speakers: presentations from both the academic and industry sides of biotechnology that will focus on cutting-edge research, current industry practices, as well as insight on industry expectations.
- Genesis Mission Lighting Talks: mini presentations highlighting PSU/Huck Lead teams that are arranging projects for the Genesis Mission Programs in biotech.
- Student Poster Session: meet and greet many talented, hardworking graduate students and faculty presenting their research.
- Networking: connect and engage with industry professionals from top biotech companies, as well as some of Penn State’s brightest faculty.
Come out and join us! Registration is required, but the event is free to all!
