What They Do?

SIB supports the initiative of the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology and the CSL Behring Fermentation Facility. This includes educating our members on techniques within the industrial biotechnology industry by providing hands-on educational modules. SIB also offers unique opportunities to hear from industry professionals and network with industry recruiters and university faculty.

How They Do It?

The CSL Behring gift helped to revitalize Penn State’s biotechnology initiative. It allowed for the creation of the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology, the CSL Behring Fermentation Facility and the SIB.
