Founded in 2020, the Penn State Center for Biodevices (CfB) was created to unite Penn State’s strengths in engineering, science, and medicine to accelerate innovation in device-based solutions that improve human health, agricultural resiliency and environmental sustainability. Since its inception, CfB has been instrumental in building a vibrant biodevices community across the Penn State Commonwealth campuses, advancing undergraduate and graduate training, and catalyzing interdisciplinary research through competitive seed awards.
