Carla D’Antonio is a Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Environmental Studies and Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has studied invasive plants in wildland ecosystems for 40 years working at the interface of population and community ecology and ecosystem restoration. She will share insights gained after working with diverse land management agencies to address ways to improve management of or restoration of degraded sites invaded by non-native plant species.
