Students applying to a Huck graduate program join a university-wide community of researchers working across disciplines to address consequential questions in the life sciences.

How Huck Programs and the Fox Graduate School Work Together

Huck graduate programs are Penn State degree programs administered in partnership with the J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School. The Fox Graduate School manages the university-wide graduate application and admissions process, including the online application, official records, and graduate enrollment requirements.

The Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences provide the academic and research home for Huck graduate students. Each Huck program sets its own program-specific expectations, such as research-area fit, faculty mentoring, required materials, review processes, and application deadlines.

Applicants submit one application through the Fox Graduate School and select their Huck graduate program within that application.
