University Park, PA 16802

Uses

  • Micro-mixing of emulsions and dispersions
  • Cell disruption
  • Particle size reduction
  • Deagglomeration

Details

  • Contains a hydraulic power system, a high-pressure single-acting intensifier pump, an interaction chamber (where size reduction of the product occurs), an auxiliary processing module, and a cooling unit that returns the product to ambient temperature.
  • Within the processor, the product is pressurized and acted upon by high-velocity contact with channel walls as well as collision upon itself.
