The Miltenyi MACSQuant VYB Cytometer is equipped with three lasers (405, 488, 561nm) which allow for two scatter (FSC, SSC,) parameters and eight fluorescent channels. It has the capability to count cells within a defined volume of sample. The MACS Mini Sampler holds tube racks of numerous formats (single tubes or 24 5mL tubes) and even microtiter plates, as well up to four reagents for automated staining of cell samples. By incorporating a 561 nm laser and eight fluorescent channels, the MACSQuant VYB is an ideal choice for analysis using fluorophore-conjugated antibodies, as well as fluorescent proteins such as mCherry, DsRed, GFP, CFP, and other fruit fluorescent proteins. Additionally, the configuration is optimized to distinguish PE and FITC fluorochromes for improved detection of dim PE populations.
