James is an Associate Professor or Psychology, Associate Chair for Graduate Studies, Director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience Graduate Program at George Mason University and is a candidate for a faculty position in Psychology (Neuroscience) and MRI Director.  He studies how we perceive our social world and the spatial and temporal context we inhabit, and focuses on the neural mechanisms that underlie these perception and cognitive processes using the tools of cognitive neuroscience.
