Three Huck Institutes affiliates named Fellows of AAAS

Ottar Bjornstad, Squire Booker, and James Broach are among seven Penn State faculty members named Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Ottar Bjørnstad, a professor of entomology, biology, and statistics at Penn State, is a cofunded faculty member of the Huck Institutes' graduate programs in ecology and immunology and infectious diseases and a researcher in the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics.

Squire Booker, a professor of chemistry and biochemistry and molecular biology at Penn State, is a Huck Institutes-affiliated researcher in the Center for RNA Molecular Biology.

James Broach, chair and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology in the College of Medicine at Penn State, is a faculty member of the Huck Institutes' graduate program in bioinformatics and genomics.
