Researchers develop a faster method to identify Salmonella strains

A new laboratory method developed by a research team including Huck Institutes affiliate Edward Dudley may significantly reduce the time it takes health officials to identify Salmonella strains.

Edward Dudley, an associate professor and Casida Development Professor of Food Science at Penn State, is a faculty member of the Huck Institutes' graduate program in immunology and infectious diseases and a researcher in the Center for Molecular Immunology and Infectious Disease and the Center for RNA Molecular Biology.
