Digital epidemiologist Marcel Salathe is teaching an online infectious disease course that he designed to be fun, and the knowledge is spreading like a virus.

Marcel Salathé, an assistant professor of biology at Penn State and an adjunct faculty member in computer science and engineering, is a researcher in the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics and a co-funded faculty member of the Huck Institutes' graduate program in bioinformatics and genomics.
