The elucidation of carcinogenic mechanisms with an underlying theme of cancer prevention, focusing primarily on mechanisms involved in the induction and progression of tobacco-related cancers. Pharmacogenetics and cancer, carcinogenic pathways, DNA repair, translational regulation.
