Sheets lab
spectroscopic imaging of cell membranes
In the Sheets lab we use quantitative fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy to investigate membrane organization and dynamics in vivo and in model membranes. Current areas of focus include: 1. immunoreceptor signaling in mast cells and aging T cells, 2. protein-lipid organization and dynamics in live cells and biomimetic membranes, 3. intermembrane interactions between vesicles and target membranes in endocytosis and exocytosis.
