Financial aid

Support for graduate students enrolled in the Genetics graduate program at Penn State.

All PhD students admitted to the program receive full tuition support and a generous stipend. This funding covers all semesters (including summers) and is renewed based on satisfactory progress towards the degree. After the selection of a research advisor, funding is provided through assistantships: research assistantships supported by grant funds and teaching assistantships available through participating departments.
The program does not currently offer funding to Masters (MS) students. Students who wish to pursue an MS degree are encouraged to seek funding from other sources.
