Transgenic mouse production

What you will need

MicropippetteInvestigators should have:

  • A PSU IACUC approved protocol so that any transgenic progeny can be transferred to your protocols at weaning.
  • Evidence of a screening assay, either PCR or Southern, for your proposed transgene.
  • Consulted with the Animal Resources Program to acquire mouse space in one of the PSU campus facilities.
  • Consulted with us to establish protocols for isolation of and preparation of DNA constructs.
