Primer design
We can help you design primers for sequencing using Oligo 6.6. You are also welcome to use it on your own.
Oligo 6.6 is available in our computational facility. We can get you started and show you how to design your own primers for PCR or for sequencing.
Sequencing results are much more successful with a well-designed primer (one that avoids hairpins, heterodimers and false priming).
Design includes production of a primer with an appropriate Tm.
