Update on the move

Dates have been revised for the Microscopy and Cytometry Facility's move to the Millennium Science Complex.

Revised move dates

Flow Lab (LSB location) to MSC W-124A

  • Tuesday, October 4 - Flow general supplies, etc.
  • Wednesday, October 5 - FC500 and XL; starting at 10:30am, and expected to resume operation the week of October 10.
  • Tuesday, October 11 - Influx; starting at 1:00pm, and expected to resume operation the week of October 17.
  • Week of October 17 - All fluorescent/confocal microscopes (316 LSB to MSC N-30E and N-32); expected to resume operation the week of October 24.

EM Lab (S. Frear location) to MSC basement

  • Wednesday, October 19 - TEM; starting at 1:00pm, and expected to resume operation the week of October 24.
  • Tuesday, October 25 - SEM; starting at 1:00 pm, and expected to resume operation the week of October 31.
  • Week of October 24 - Ultramicrotomes; expect several days offline.
  • TBD - Histology (paraffin) and cryostat move; expect one or two days offline.

Equipment Offline

Moving of lab staff will be coordinated with each equipment move, but please be prepared for some interruption of services; see dates above for details.
