pST44 polycistronic plasmid distribution

Monocistronic vs. polycistronic expression vectors

The pST44 suite of plasmids to express protein complexes in E. coli (Tan, Kern and Selleck, Prot. Expr. Purif., 40:385-395, 2005) are available to investigators from academic institutions performing non-commercial research.

The 75 plasmids of the pST44 suite are provided on a DNA card. To cover the cost of preparing and distributing all these plasmids, the suite is available at a cost of $650.42.

How to obtain:

  1. Download the Materials Transfer Agreement which contains the Implementing Letter.
  2. Fill out the Implementing Letter, including the shipping and billing information.
  3. Send the completed Implementing Letter by mail, fax or email.

Tours

Want to tour a facility at University Park, or arrange a tour for someone else?

The Huck Institutes’ facility directors are glad to assist with scheduled tours for potential faculty hires and student recruitment. However, due to the heavy workloads in our facilities, we must request that the tours be set up in advance. Most of our facility directors cannot accommodate “drop in” tours since they are working on time sensitive research projects for faculty.

Procedure for setting up facility tours

Contact the facility director to schedule the tour. We request a one week notice prior to the potential visit (earlier if possible). Or, if you prefer, you can contact Megan Matthews to make your arrangements.
