Undergraduate wins ASPB Fellowship

Charles Mason won a $3000 fellowship from the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB). Mason was one of just 15 students nationwide selected for the fellowship, which also includes student membership in the ASPB and a travel grant to attend the 2008 ASPB Plant Biology meeting. » full article

Joint lab with Chinese university

Fedoroff receives National Medal of Science

Fedoroff receives National Medal of Science

Nina Fedoroff, the Huck Institutes' first director, has been selected as a recipient of the 2006 National Medal of Science. She is one of eight scientists named by President Bush to receive the nation's highest award for lifetime achievement in scientific research. Dr Fedoroff has also been named Science and Technology Advisor to the US Secretary of State. Fedoroff is internationally renowned for her work in plant molecular biology and genetics. » full article
