IBIOS: Integrative Biosciences
A graduate degree program in the life sciences at Penn State.
This graduate degree program was approved by the Penn State Graduate Council in 1996. The program was developed to respond to the need for an integrated graduate curriculum in the life sciences.
Several subject areas that were originally offered as IBIOS options have since become stand-alone Intercollege Graduate Degree Programs in their own right.
Today, IBIOS students can choose from two options. Proposals to add other options are under review.
