Research rotations
MD/PhD students in the Genetics Program spend the summer after the first year in research rotations.
Upon approval from the MD/PhD office, students begin rotations after Memorial Day and end the Friday before classes start in the fall.
Three rotations are required.
Students choose the laboratory for their thesis work by Fall of the second year, but do not begin work in the lab until the third year.
