What career preparation is available?
Career preparation resources available to graduate students include workshops on cv preparation and interviewing. Depending on the program, you may be able to undertake an internship.
Together with Penn State Career Services, the Huck Institutes offers annual workshops on:
- Preparing a resume / curriculum vitae
- Writing effective application letters
- Interviewing skills
Depending on your program, you may be able to undertake an internship in a government, industry or non-traditional setting in the United States or abroad.
You probably want to start applying for positions at least a year before you anticipate finishing your degree.
