What do students do after they graduate?
Students graduating from programs supported by the Huck Institutes have gone on to a variety of rewarding careers in academia and teaching, industry and business, law, government, scientific writing and non-profit organizations.
The skills, experience and knowledge you gain by completing one of these graduate programs will enable you to explore career options in a wide range of areas.
If you have a PhD degree and are interested in continuing to teach and/or research in a University environment, you could consider postdoctoral research or instructional posts.
Some students go on to research positions in private companies (such as biomedical research organizations), or government agencies.
Other students enter careers in law (including patent law), administration of government or charitable funding programs, scientific and technical writing, or science policy.
