I've applied; what happens next?
Your application will be considered by program faculty. Some candidates may be invited to interview, in person or by telephone.
Thank you for applying!
Your application will be reviewed by program faculty. In order to consider your application, we need to have all the information outlined in the how to apply instructions. So if you haven't done so already, please ensure that your letters of recommendation and other materials have been mailed to us.
If your application is of interest, you may be offered an interview. Depending on the time of year and your geographical location, you may be interviewed over the telephone. Alternatively, you may be asked to come to Penn State for interview. For those graduate programs with faculty split between University Park campus and Hershey College of Medicine, you may be asked to interview at both campus locations. If you come to Penn State for interview, you will be able to meet program faculty in person, and to tour the campus(es). You will be sent more information about interviews if you are selected for one.
Following interview, you may be offered a place on the program for the following Fall semester, or your application may be regretfully closed.
If you have specific questions about your application, please contact a staff assistant for the relevant program.
