Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation

Fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research into fundamental gene regulation processes and their impact on cellular and developmental biology

The Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation studies mechanisms of gene regulation through several different model organisms, including human tissue culture cells, fruit flies, and yeast.

We use these models to tease out the relationships between the numerous interacting factors responsible for gene regulation.

The Genome Cartography Project

The Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation also is part of the Genome Cartography Project — a collaboration with the Center for Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics.
