Student-organized retreats held annually and featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, poster sessions, and research presentations by faculty and students of the Bioinformatics and Genomics graduate program.

2016 Bioinformatics and Genomics Retreat
   The retreat consists of a one-and-a-half day meeting featuring a keynote speaker, faculty and student talks, machine learning workshop           and poster presentations. This year we are honored to host Dr. Richard Myers, from Hudson Alpha Institute as the keynote speaker. The         retreat is open to everyone. Attendance is free, but you must register by August 31st.
 
2015 Bioinformatics and Genomics Retreat
The retreat consists of a one-and-a-half day meeting featuring a keynote speaker, faculty and student talks, data visualization workshop and poster presentations. This year we are honored to host the leader in Computational Genomics, Dr. Eric Schadt as the keynote speaker. The retreat is open to everyone. Attendance is free, but you must register by August 21st.

2013 Bioinformatics and Genomics Retreat
The retreat consists of a one-and-a-half day meeting featuring a keynote speaker, faculty and student talks and poster presentations. This year we are honored to host THE leader in Functional Genomics, Dr. Michael Snyder, and thanks to an interdepartmental effort, we are excited to announce a joint genomics/statistics session and two concurrent statistics sessions to honor Dr. Herman Chernoff, the winner of this year's Rao Prize. The retreat and Rao's Prize workshop are open to everyone. Attendance is free, but you must register by September 25th.
2012 Bioinformatics and Genomics Retreat
A one-and-a-half-day event featuring visionary talk and panel discussion, keynote speaker, poster presentations, and faculty and student presentations on bioinformatics and genomics research. The retreat is open to all Penn State faculty, postdocs, students, and staff. Attendance is free, but you must register by August 31st.
