Sponsored by the Graduate School and the Graduate School Alumni Society. Free to attend, but registration is required.
If you are an MS student wanting to pursue a PhD, a doctoral student, or a postdoctoral trainee interested in a career outside of academia, you are encouraged to attend this workshop.
Sponsored by the Graduate School and the Graduate School Alumni Society, the workshop will introduce a range of career possibilities for doctoral recipients, via the experiences of nearly 30 graduate alumni who represent various careers in private industry and government. These alumni (who graduated between 1966 and 2004) will talk about their individual career paths and lead breakout discussions for those interested in similar careers.
The workshop will begin with a keynote presentation at 9.30am, breakout discussions and a wrap-up session to share summaries of the discussions. A luncheon will follow to allow for continuing conversations and closing remarks.
Registration for the workshop and the agenda are available online at https://secure.gradsch.psu.edu/cosign/workshops/career
