Dr Hoffmann was awarded the 1981 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Note that Dr Hoffmann is also giving another lecture while visiting Penn State, at 8pm in 104 Keller Building on November 5, entitled One culture, or the commonalities and differences between the arts and the sciences.
