Shimadzu and the Proteomics and MS Core Facility will sponsor a two-part seminar

Prominence Nano:  High-Precision Nano Flow-Rate Gradient Analysis for LC: Presented by Dr. Terry Adams
Shimadzu Introduces the Prominence nano, an HPLC that supports high-precision gradient analysis by providing advanced flow-rate precision in the nano flow-rate range. Prominence nano delivers exact flow rates via two LC-20ADnano pumps that are independently controlled by feedback from integrated high-precision nano flow sensors. The instrument’s Reflux Flow Control System (patent pending) stabilizes solvent delivery and ensures low solvent consumption with no disposal of split flow, minimizing environmental impact.
QP-2010 Plus GC/MS:  Setting a New Standard for Performance and Sensitivity: Presented by Dr. Ron Snelling
The GCMS-QP2010 Plus is our most advanced class of gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, upgraded in
performance and usability.  The higher sensitivity of the GCMS-QP2010 Plus, attained by refinement of the ionization system, makes a more significant contribution to trace analysis.  Newly added FASST (Fast Automated Scan/SIM Technique) permits highly sensitive analysis with higher accuracy by making use of both the excellent ability of Scan in identification and the effectiveness of SIM in high sensitivity quantitation.
