Brings together domain (life sciences, materials, ecology etc) and method (data mining, applied math, informatics, computing etc.) scientists to discuss multidisciplinary collaborations in cyber-enabled discovery and innovation (CDI). Lunch provided. Register by November 21.
Our goal is to enable collaborations toward developing NSF CDI proposals (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2007/nsf07603/nsf07603.htm). The first hour will feature short presentations including viewgraphs from NSF CDI program manager Dr. Sirin Tekinay. The second hour will feature lunch and group discussions.
